Annie Moses Band Announces "2019 Christmas with the Annie Moses Band" Tour
PBS sensation and Emmy-nominated, award-winning folk group, Annie Moses Band, known for its fiery string playing and soulful renditions of beloved American songs, is taking its popular holiday show, Christmas with the Annie Moses Band, on tour for the 2019 Christmas season.
Annie Moses Band launches its high-spirited, 16-city holiday tour across ten states beginning with a special performance Nov. 30 at The Caverns, a concert hall located deep underground at the base of Monteagle Mountain (Pelham, TN, southeast of Nashville) and home to the Emmy-winning, PBS television series Bluegrass Underground. The Caverns draws music fans from all over the world for concerts that span musical genres.
With multiple sell-out crowds expected along the tour, Annie Moses Band will perform at events in major market cities such as Raleigh, Dallas (Fort Worth), Houston and more before the tour wraps up with back-to-back nights Dec. 23 and 24 in Austin, Texas. Tickets and additional tour news can be found at AnnieMosesBand.com/Tour.
A perennial holiday favorite with fans across the country, Christmas with the Annie Moses Band features music from its made-for-TV special that stands on the PBS charts as one of the most played specials of the season. From the electrifying rhythm of "Carol of the Bells" to the breath-taking beauty of "O Holy Night" and other stunning arrangements of beloved carols, the PBS string sensation re-imagines the Christmas season with its trademark classical finesse and fast-paced fiddling fused in a concert setting that bridges the gap between the halls of Juilliard and the American heartland.
Beautiful original songs, such as "When The Christmas Baby Cries," join eternal melodies of holiday classics like "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," "Deck the Halls" and more, and are all meant to engage fans in a Christmas experience that is virtuosic, deeply reverent and unforgettable.
"Christmas with the Annie Moses Band is the perfect way for families, couples and people of all ages to celebrate the holidays and enjoy an incredible evening of unforgettable music," says Annie Moses Band Founder Robin Wolaver. "We invite audiences everywhere on a cinematic journey featuring the sounds of strings, harp and soaring vocals for an enrapturing experience that captures the enduring beauty of the Christmas season like never before."
"Our holiday tour is always one of the most special times of the year for us," shares Annie Dupre, Annie Moses Band founder, lead vocalist and violinist. "Every year we look forward to spending the season with friends and family and are thankful for the wonderful opportunity to share our music and a message of faith, beauty and excitement."
Additionally, several Christmas with the Annie Moses Band tour dates will be sponsored by Prison Fellowship International to benefit children of prisoners overseas through child sponsorship. For more information, visit https://pfi.org/tag/prison-fellowship-international/.
