Hillsong Worship Releases "There Is More: Studio Sessions" EP
Today, multi-platinum selling and Billboard No. 1 worship team, Hillsong Worship, releases their brand new studio EP "There Is More: Studio Sessions." The 6-track compilation follows on the heels of their chart-topping, full-length album "There Is More" and fastest-growing single in church history ("What A Beautiful Name") that earned the group its first career GRAMMY® Award win earlier this year. In support of the project, the Australia-based collective will appear in Sydney, London and New York in July/August during the annual Hillsong Conference with Global Senior Pastor of Hillsong Church, Brian Houston, followed by a second leg circuit for their headline There Is More Tour visiting churches and large arenas from coast to coast this fall.
"There is more at stake than we dare realize- souls, communities, families, nations on the other side of our wrestle through the night seasons," says Hillsong Worship's Brooke Ligertwood. "Our personal freedom is for corporate revival. There is more of God, and more to God and His love than we can possible conceive of."
With more than 20 million career album sales and over 1.5 billion career streams, Hillsong Worship is undisputedly one of the genre's most influential artists in the history of contemporary Christian music. The group has helped shape praise and worship for almost three decades while redefining Christian music to the masses with a catalog sung by an estimated 50 million people worldwide each week.
Their latest full-length album, "There Is More" which broke the street-week record for audio/video streams in the Christian genre with over 8.3 million streams, continues to make a huge imprint worldwide. Earning over 71 million total streams since its April 6 release, the project debuted at No. 26 overall on the Billboard Top 200, No. 8 on Billboard Digital Albums, and No. 2 on the Christian and Gospel Billboard Top 100. The lead single "Who You Say I Am" received 32 station adds out of the box and is currently No. 17 at NCA. The song continues to rise in the church with over 22 million views on YouTube and top chart placements that include No. 1 on Multitracks, No. 1 on Praise Charts, No. 4 at Planning Center, and No. 4 on Song Select.
"There Is More: Studio Sessions" is available now on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and anywhere else music is digitally sold.
