Earnest Pugh Celebrates National Read A Book Day with Audiobook Release, "Abiding In The Place of Worship"
To commemorate National Read A Book Day the Emmy award-winning actor, singer, songwriter, and artist Earnest Pugh is releasing an audiobook version of his Amazon bestseller "Abiding In The Place of Worship: Practical Instructions For The Modern Day Minstrel" that he wrote during the 2020 global pandemic and released a year later.
In celebration of the release of the audiobook version of "Abiding In The Place of Worship," Dr. Pugh invites everyone to join him online Friday, September 6 at 7 p.m. CST and 8 p.m. EST for a discussion around a few topics in the book. To join the discussion please visit www.earnestpugh.com to register, obtain the Zoom link, and receive a FREE autographed copy of the (Keepsake) CD entitled Just Worship.
Initially released in paperback format by Books2LiveBy publishing company, the Foreword of the book was written by the phenomenal theologian and biblical scholar - Rev. Dr. Ralph Douglas West, Senior Pastor of The Church Without Walls where Pugh serves as Artist In Residence. A tremendous teaching tool for Worship Leaders, "Abiding In The Place of Worship" is endorsed by the likes of the global preaching sensation Rev. Dr. Claudette Anderson Copeland, Pastor Emeritus at New Creations Christian Center; Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning, Jr., Senior Pastor of Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, MD where Pugh served on the music staff for over 10 years; Bishop Kevin Foreman, Harvest Church of Denver, Co; Rev. Dr. Michael Bell, Senior Pastor of Allen Chapel AME Church in Washington, DC and Life Coach and Apostle Steven Banks.
According to Dr. Pugh, "The book is comprised of spiritual 'downloads' and 'nuggets' that I obtained over the last three decades as a Worship Pastor, Conference Worship Leader and Speaker, Visiting Professor at Howard University School of Divinity, Instructor at various worship symposiums and Choir Workshops, and while touring every weekend for the last two decades." Pugh is a Billboard Chart-Topping Recording Artist who has released 12 CDs to date with #1 hits such as "Rain On Us," "I Need Your Glory," "Thank You So Much," and "God Wants To Heal You."
Pugh said, "The discussion will center around Strategically Affecting the Flow of Worship." Following the discussion, there will be a brief question and answer period followed by a Listening Session of songs from his forthcoming 2025 release The Outpour Experience, Vol. 2 recorded live in San Antonio, Texas, earlier this year. Pugh's latest single "Don't Give Up" recently reached Top 30 on Billboard Gospel Radio Charts and is still rising. January 2025 Pugh will release two songs from his live recording The Outpour Experience, Vol. 2. The bundle (2 songs and 2 videos) is entitled The Easter Essential distributed by MNRK. The full CD will be released in the second quarter of 2025.
About "Abiding In The Place of Worship"The book was written in hopes of being transformative to multiple thousands of believers. It is the result of thoughts and ideas that began more than 30 years ago. Through various praise and worship seminars, workshops, and one-on-one impartations regarding how worshippers and worship leaders can direct the flow of worship both privately and publicly. Every point has been prefaced with the fact that it is not enough to merely visit the place of worship. Real transformation only occurs as a result of living, dwelling, and abiding in the place of worship.
