Minecraft PlayStation Vita Edition Gameplay, Release And Reports: 4J Studios, Game Developers Announce That Minecraft PlayStation Vita Is Heading To The Sony System This Month

We have the latest for you on the gameplay, release and reports of Minecraft PlayStation Vita edition. On the PlayStation 4 later PlayStation 3 and later the Microsoft's consoles now Minecraft has found its way to the PlayStation Vita version from Sony. Sony Corp. studios, 4J Studios, game developers announced that the game is heading to the Sony system on October 15^th. The announcement came yesterday 9^th October, 2014. Well this set date is only set to apply to European Vita owners with the North America release date is yet to be announced and confirmed. Polygon news reached out to the company for more information on the launch for the PS Vita version of Minecraft.

Rumors had spread that the update that had been released for the PC version, Horse update will now be released for all consoles as Eurogamer news reports.

For users who purchased the Minecraft video game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4  edition that launched just last month, will be a cross buy and will demand one to buy the PlayStation Vita version as a stand-alone. 4J studios have one only left option and that is to develop one unified update that can match all the consoles that have the game version to the current 1.6 PC build, known as the Horse Update. On that note the Developers in a tweet explained that it may be hard to integrate the PC with the console. "May take some time before we can expect parity between PC and console editions," the Tweet read reports Polygon News.

4J studios also announced that although the PS4 is a different entity, one could easily switch to the PS3/Vita version of the game at reduced costs, according to Eurogamer. "We are now working on an update for all Minecraft console edition to move up to the equivalent of Java 1.6.4 version, but it may take some time," 4J studios explained on twitter. Horses and donkeys, status buffing beacons, different types of clay, bats, the famous wither enemy type, red stone blocks and horse armor are all due to be included. #MinecraftPSvita passed final test and will be released on 15^th October in Europe!
