Supernatural Season 10 News and Episode Reviews: Premiere Starts with Ackles Introduction to Demon Life and the Insatiability of the Mark
The 10th season of Supernatural premiered yesterday and it was just as intense as everyone thought it would be but if you thought this was something, then you have no idea what the CW has in store for you as concerns the second episode. "Reichenbach," airs on the CW next Tuesday and according to the synopsis for the next week's installment for the episode, the fans should anticipate a family reunion happening between the favorite Winchester brothers. In the first episode which was titled 'Black', Dean left Sam stranded in the dungeon of Cole, Guest star played by Travis Aaron Wade. He was apparently threatening to slit Sammy's throat as if the Winchesters are afraid of death in the first place.
It seems that Cole blames Dean for his father's death some time ago and wants retribution for the wrong. But here is the thing, Dean no longer cares..about anything. "I told him to let me go, so any jam he's in now, that is his problem. ... He knows damn sure that if I am one thing, I am a man of my word," Dean said. To be fair he eventually went back to save Sam and resolved to scare him off from saving him. Dean says, "I'm doing all I can not to rip out your throat." However, Dean may not have stabilized in fact and it is all due to that marking on his wrist. Even Crowley starts to notice that Dean is in fact becoming more and more aggressive.
Dean tells him that it is the side effect of becoming a Demon, but Crowley knows that this is something more. That mark is not just satisfied with the owner becoming one of the dark forces but it also needs to be satiated like a vampire. Does this mean that Dean is going on a killing spree? Time will tell. If things get to be too much even for Crowley then you need to be worried. At the same time, the Castiel's grace is continuing to fade and guest star Erica Carroll asks for help from Metatron.
