Despicable Me 3 Movie Release Date, Reveals and Updates: Plot may Concentrate on how Gru Handles the Girls Leaving Home

Ever since they first met Gru, the girls and the minions in 2010 fans have been asking for more and more. The numbers alone spoke volumes Despicable me one grossed  slightly over half a billion dollars while Despicable Me 2 grossed a few million shy of a billion dollars; with cash like that it would be sheer foolishness to down one's tools and say you've had enough. Illumination and Universal are nowhere near done with a Minions movie coming out in 2015 and Despicable Me 3 set to be in theatres on 30^th June 2017. The movie is the first to book the date; considering the cult following Gru and crew have we doubt that any other studio will pick the date for a release.

The plot for the movie is still under wraps and we suspect it shall be for a long time to come as the team is concentrating their efforts on Minions. However, considering the amount of time that has passed the girls will [be much older with the oldest possibly finishing high school if not off to college. Taking that angle into consideration maybe Gru and the minions may have a problem with one of the girls leaving the nest. Our favorite villain turned international good guy may be pitted against a new more challenging villain. What new weapons Gru will come up with and what new ways the inions can help him with shall also be a very interesting angle.

Steve Carrel should be coming back as Gru and Russel Brand should also reprise his role as the loveable evil scientist as well. Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier and Elsie Kate Fisher should also come back to voice the girls. The success that was the song Happy puts all artists that might be chosen for the film on edge because is there any way to best 'Happy'? Pharell might have to come back and sing 'Happy2' or something.
