iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4 Specs and Features: Battle of The Screens, Performance and Camera
iPhone 6 Plus was certainly an innovation for Apple, who have vowed to stick with the same design of their phone. Not that, it's a bad thing that they ventured to the world of 5" and bigger sized phablets, but people can't resist the urge to make comparisons and even jokes. Kidding aside, iPhone 6 is certainly a solid performer. Thanks to the A8 processor and loads of performance upgrades, but how does it fare well, with its new rival handsets today? Especially Samsung's Galaxy Note 4.
The difference between the two large smartphones are almost indistinguishable, especially the resolution. However, it is a good thing to note that the Galaxy Note 4 is not yet released. According to GSM Arena, it will sport a 515 ppi, which tops iPhone 6 Plus' 401 ppi. Both phones have full 1080 display, with Galaxy Note 4 being a bit larger in frame size.
iPhone 6 Plus is powered by A8 Processor and a PowerVR GX6650, but according to a Benchmark test performed by gsmarena, it is not that groundbreaking when compared to its older brother iPhone 5S. Only scoring at around 21,000 on the benchmark test, iPhone 6 Plus will obviously be less faster when compared to Galaxy Note 4, with its sheer power and top of the line GPU in the form of Adreno 420. You could also note that difference in RAM. According to GSM Arena, the iPhone 6 Plus only has 1 GB, while the Galaxy Note 4 has 3GB of it. You could not possibly try to fill the entire 128 GB storage offered by iPhone 6 Plus, but the lack of expandable storage slot could still be quite a bother to some.
Both handsets have a great snapper built in, but Galaxy Note 4 has the upper hand, in terms of resolution with 16-megapixel and f/1.9 aperture with OIS. However, this doesn't mean a lot, especially with the quality of images produced. The iPhone 6 Plus only has an 8-megapixel camera with the same aperture, but it produces more convincing color reproduction from its default camera app when compared to Samsung's older Galaxy Note 3 in Cnet's comparison.
