'Justice League: Throne of Atlantis' Release Date 2015, First Trailer Unveiled, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis is the upcoming animated superhero film which is part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies. They have released a the first trailer footage for the new movie, which you can check out above.
The film will be based on the Throne of Atlantis story arc written by Geoff Johns and serves as a sequel to 2014's Justice League: War. Jason O'Mara, Christopher Gorham, Sean Astin, Shemar Moore and Steven Blum reprise their respected roles from Justice League: War, while Nathan Fillion reprises his role as Green Lantern / Hal Jordan from Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, Justice League: Doom and Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.
Plot: In the comic book story line, Orm, Aquaman's half-brother, thinks the surface world attacked Atlantis, so Orm retaliates by bringing his Atlantian forces to the surface world in one gigantic war. Aquaman has to chose between his friends on dry land and his family below.
The complete voices for the movie are set as Arthur Curry to be Matt Lanter in the animated feature. He will be joined by Jason O'Mara as Batman, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Sean Astin as Shazam, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Jerry O'Connell as Superman, Sam Witwer, as Aquaman's devious brother Orm, and Sumalee Montano as his future bride Mera.
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis will debut on direct-to-video digital, DVD and Blu-ray in early 2015 from Warner Brothers.
