Bloodborne Release Date, Reveals, Plot, Update and News: More Details Come out about the Game Plot and Gameplay
Bloodborne is set to release exclusively on the Playstation 4 mode on February 6th 2015. However, for those who want to get in on the action a bit earlier, the game alpha test version was underway yesterday. You only have about two days to get some time in with the game before the alpha test comes to a close. For those who did not know, you have probably missed the game time with Bloodborne today, though there will be a chance for some time on Friday and another opportunity on Sunday. Here in the United States, the times would land somewhere in the afternoon. However, there is other information that suggests most of the alpha test times should begin in the evening via the Central European Time.
The only downer is that it each session is going to be three hours long. That means that one has to be primed and ready for when it is time for the alpha tests to start up and give as good as they get before they shut down. According to the developers, the game favors those with good reflexes discipline and the conviction to go all in when the opportunity arises; so to speak. When you pick any of the four Alphas four character builds, then you might see a relation between playing on the offense and hanging back quickly to avoid hits.
There is a familiar methods used in Dark Souls that involves circling the opponent in order to provoke them into attacking and that would still work in this game. However, don't think it's just that easy because if you misjudge the striking range of the opponent, then you might find yourself dead before you know it. Just like in real life fighting, the key is to know your abilities and knowing how to dodge and when to retreat. As such, the tricks of evasion and retreat have to hot-wired into your gameplay for you to survive in this game, unless you like tactless all in combat.
