Apple says that 27-inch Retina iMac is going to be released along with OS X Yosemite at the end of this year. IPhones, iPads, and MacBook are already installed with super high-resolution Retina displays. But for the iMac line, Apple is said to add a new cheapter model that would closely resemble the Retina on the desktop. iMac 27-inch Retina will be releasing with doubling resolution from 2560x1440 to 5120x2880. The reports also indicate that iMacs will ship with AMD graphics instead of the Nvidia cards, which are installed with current models.

iMac prices start from $1099 and the top price is $1999. Users therefore can expect different price range of models, but the new model goes above $2000. People are waiting for the higher-resolution iMacs, PC manufacturers' going forward with 4K displays. Recently the developers are following graphics to Retina on the MacBook, iPad, and iPhone, apps, which are expected to be release on launch day, Macworld reports

Quanta Computer is already set to start the production of 12-inch MacBook Air in July, Accordingto a DigiTimes report. But it is possible only if the Intel chip comes. In short, the responsibility of releasing MacBook Air in time vested in to the hands of Intel; if they provided with new Intel chips; which expected to be arrived in October. 

The reports already released about the reason for the delay MacBook Air Retina is the delay of new Core M chip from Intel. Intel has issued a press release regarding the arrival of its new Core M chip that could expect to be used in new MacBook Air. Many manufactures currently using this chip on their laptops and tablets, and some of these models will be available in October. According to the report, Intel, Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Toshiba are using the Core M chip manufactured by Intel.
