"Ant-Man" Spoilers: A Criminal who Obtained a Substance that Allowed Him to Shrink
To the Marvel enthusiasts, this is something that will definitely shake your delight! The smallest protagonist is coming to the big screen!
"Ant-Man" from Marvel Studios, is an forthcoming superhero film that is based on the Marvel Comics characters Scott Lang and Hank Pym.
Starring Paul Rudd as Ant-Man/Scott Lang, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Pym, "Ant-Man" is envisaged to earn a massive blockbuster profit to Marvel Studios. Plus, there is a very close probability that "Ant-Man" could become Marvel Studios' largest success story up to present. More than that, "Ant-Man" will surely become another star icon to the present generation.
A glimpse to the main charcters:
Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man. Lang is a criminal who obtained a substance that allowed him to shrink in size while having superstrong abilities.
Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym/Ant-Man. Pym is an entomologist and physicist, who discovered the Ant-Man technology in 1963. Being the original Ant-Man, he mentored Scott Lang to be the one to take over.
Evangeline Lily as Hope Van Dyne. Hank Pym's daughter.
As one of Marvel's bullet movies for the upcoming year, the movie plot revolves on Scott Lang, teaming up with his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym in protecting the mystery of the Ant-Man technology. This invention enables its user to become smaller in size, but stronger.
The movie script was initially written by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish. However, sources say that Edgar Wright left the project last May 2014 due to conflicting creative views with Marvel Studio. Last June 2014, Marvel Studios announced that Peyton Reed would be the director of the film. Adam McKay, a writer-director best known for the Anchorman movies, became part of the team to contribute to the movie script. The team began filming last August 2014 with the original cast still maintained.
Marvel fanatics, prepare yourselves for another action-packed thrill experience. Marvel's Ant-Man will have its debut in theaters and cinemas worldwide on July 17, 2015.
