Mac Mini 2014 Release Date: What To Expect On Summer Months
Apple's Mac Mini was updated last October 2012. It gains quad-core Core i7 processors. The RAM was upgraded and it has Intel HD Graphics 4000. Desktop computer is due for update, which, this time, includes higher performing Haswell of Intel and iris integrated graphics.
While Haswell processors would likely result to humble speed gains, graphical performance should have solid enhancements. Intel reported that the iris integrated graphics can double or triple its performance of Ivy Bridge chips. Mac mini will somehow see a modest hard drive increase to 1TB. There were no hints if Mac mini will receive a redesign. However, the look was updated last 2010 and Apple had revamped both Mac Pro and iMac. This goes to show that Mac mini will be redesign.
When it comes to its operating system, Apple's Mac mini would flow with OS X Mavericks if ever it will be released in the next few months. OS X 10.9 was released last October 2013 which includes several improvements like a restored Finder with its tags and tabs for easy file management, and better support for display and new apps.
The pricing of Mac mini is still the same. It suggests that Apple will keep on offering same price points. Dual-core Mac mini is available for $599. Quad core version is at $799 and OS X Server version is available at $999.
Though July 2013 scarcity of Mac mini has suggests that release will be on summer months.
