On 14th September mobile phone manufacturer Motorola announced that next-generation Moto X Smart phone will be released on 16th September. The company also revealed that Moto Hint Bluetooth earpiece will also be available for preorder on 16th September. On top of that, a Turbo charger, an accessory that promises 8 hours of battery life in 15 minutes will also be released to the carriers going for an estimated price of $34.99. The new device will offer enhanced specs and a number of customizable options. It was also revealed that Moto 360 Smart watch will be back in stock on the same day as well.
According to reports by chinatopix.com, the new Moto X is expected to have a price tag of $99 on AT&T with a $490 two-year off-contract agreement. Moto X Pure Edition is $499 at full retail. The new device will also come with a wireless ear bud which has the capability of controlling a smart phone will also be offered for $150.
Moto X comes with a new case and upgraded features and will retail at a lower price than its competitors. This is in line with the company's plan to sell devices that are at par with the competitors but at a reasonable price. Moto X comes with a 5.2-inch active-matrix organic LED display that boasts of a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 423 pixels per square inch. The device is also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a speed of 2.5 GHz processor, 2 GB RAM, 2300 mAh lithium ion battery, a 13 MP camera with a dual-LED flash with the capability of taking 4K videos and an Adreno 330 graphics card.
Moto X runs the latest android operating system, KitKat 4.4.4 and has an expandable memory slot of up to 32 GB. This device is set to offer stiff competition and it's anticipated to be a hit for people who admire classy gadgets at an affordable price.
