'The Croods 2' Release Date Update: December 22, 2017 Confirmed; More On Story, Cast And Production
DreamWorks Animation has officially declared 'The Croods 2' release date as December 22, 2017 as we can see it on ComingSoon. The movie is created by DreamWorks and distributed by 20th Century Fox worldwide. The Croods first version grossed $587 million worldwide making it highest grossing 2013 film distributed by 20th Century Fox.
The huge success prompted the producers and writers to come up with the second installment. They announced The Croods 2 on April 17, 2013. The Croods was originally released on March 22, 2013 in the United States. The movie is a 3D computer animated adventure comedy film showcasing fictional prehistoric Pliocene era called as The Croodaceous.
The original story is written and directed by Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders. The plot revolves around cave men who are bothered by the entry of a new prehistoric expert who displays new inventions as they trek forward in a dangerous and exotic land for finding a new home in the first version. The Croods 2 will be more about mother and the motherhood, as per DeMicco.
The voice is offered by Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds and they will be sharing it in the second installment too. The first version had 24 tracks in all. It is not known yet how many tracks The Croods 2 will have. But, yes the good news for the fans is that The Croods 2 is coming in theatres on December 22, 2017.
