'Motorola Droid 5' Also Known As "Milestone 5" know its Release Date and More
Motorola Droid 5, also called Milestone 5 is an upcoming smartphone designed and developed by Motorola that runs on the Android operating system by Google, as its name suggests, it is a successor to the previous model Motorola's Droid 4 and is the 5th generation of the Motorola Milestone.
According to rumors and images released online, outwardly it will have a 4.3 to 4.7 inch screen size display with 720 pixel resolution (342 ppi), a clear 10 Mega pixel camera, and a full physical QWERTY keyboard with five rows that slides out from the side of the phone, which makes its design identical and similar to its predecessors (Droid, Droid 2, Droid 3 and Droid 4).
It is also said to be shock proof, and water and dust resistant.
Inside, it will contain a MSM8960 Dual core Snapdragon Krait or S4 Plus processor chipset, an Adreno 225 GPU, with a RAM capacity of 1 Gigabyte to 2 Gigabytes, an internal built in storage capacity of 16 Gigabytes, powered by a 2,000mAh battery.
It supports wireless charging, NFC radio, microSD card slot and is compatible with 4G LTE, according to leaks online.
Rumors and news of the release date of Motorola's Droid 5 have been circulating since last year 2013, but seems to be unclear of the launch date. Some sources suggest it will make its appearance and will be available by this year in late of 2014, others claim it may not even reach out to the market.
Well, let's just wait and see, and hopefully this new Droid smartphone will offer us a different experience from the previous models.
