If you haven't heard yet, 24 film rumors are now gaining momentum as more and more juicy details are being reported regarding the hit TV series finally being adapted into film. But is there any truth in these 24 rumors?

According to the 24 news article that was written by website TV.com, Imagine Entertainment is already taking into consideration filming a movie for the show. However, the website also said that before this can be done, 20^th Century Fox has to agree first.

In a separate 24 update, website TVLine.com said in an article that it was able to obtain exclusive information regarding the news about Jack Bauer in a movie. According to the publication, its sources shared information that Imagine Entertainment is already thinking of this new idea. This is possibly because of the success of the 24: Live Another Day. Brian Grazer, the chairman of Imagine Entertainment, is claimed to be "keen" on the movie pitch.

Both websites said that a 20^th Century Fox representative didn't want to comment on the subject.

In the TVLine.com news article, it reminded fans of what Keifer Sutherland, who plays Jack Bauer in 24, said back in winter. "The film's an ongoing situation. There's always an opportunity to do that," said the actor.

There's only a slight problem to this 24 film rumor: it is quite known that Fox is also keen on mounting yet another mini series of the show sometime soon.

According to TVLine.com, Peter Rice, the Fox Networks Group Chairman CEO, said last July that, "I loved this year's season of 24. I've always been a fan. We haven't had a specific conversation about it coming back yet, but I'm sure we will in the future. It's a wonderful franchise. When you look at the show itself, it has many more stories to tell. I think we need to sit down and talk to the creators."
