The supernatural comedy film 'Ghostbusters' is set to have its third instalment come out very soon. The movie whose first instalment was done 30 years ago and its lustreless sequel in 1988 is set to be directed by Bridesmaids director Paul Feig. This comes as a shock to many especially because it has been Ivan Reitman who has been at the helm for the first two instalments of this movie. Despite the fact that Sony has not gone public with this decision because it is still a long way to go with a lot of work to be done before Paul Feig officially accepts the job, it can be thought that the reason for their change of director would probably be as a result of Ivan Reitman's refusal to take up the third instalment after one of the main actors of the movie, Harold Ramis passed away on February this year.

Bill Murray has also come out publicly to say that he will also not return for the third instalment. However, Reitman still believes that he will feature in the third instalment saying that he never says yes until literally just before the shoot according to an interview with Toronto life. However, Reitman also disclosed that Bill Murray said that he is not the main actor type because he doesn't want those responsibilities. He prefers the character actors.

This will mean that the third instalment of this movie will be having a lot of many new faces including the man at the helm of it all, Paul Feig. We can expect new main actors although we shall be seeing an old face in the form of Dan Aykroyd who is going to return for Ghostbusters 3. The trailer is already online giving fans a sneak peek on what to expect from the third instalment of the film. However, with the new man at helm we can expect that the movie will be much more brilliant than its sequel which was not such a big hit in the Box Office. We can expect the fan base to increase as the anticipation for this supernatural comedy intensifies. Although no official release date has been announced we are hoping to see the movie hit the screens very soon.
