Mission Impossible 5 Release date, Reveals and Spoilers: Tom Cruise to Arrive in Morocco to Begin Shooting as of September this Year
Who knew Paramount could get another Mission Impossible out of Tom Cruise? We were barely able to believe he could do Ghost Protocol and here they come with a fifth installment. Mission impossible five is set to be released on December 25th 2015 at which point Tom Cruise will be 53 years old. The actor who was once one of the highest paid actors in the world has been unable to rake in the cash in recent years apart from in the mission impossible series. The series has grossed two billion cumulatively and is the 16th highest grossing film series of all time.
The plot for the fifth movie is not yet out; all we know is IMF agent Ethan Hunt will be there. This great same agent Hunt began from 1996 who is legend. Since then Ethan Hunt has been framed for murder, accused of selling government secrets, stopped the sale of a deadly virus, stopped an arms dealer and stopped a global nuclear war. Agent hunt even retired in the midst of all this and was called back. The series has had countless stunts with Mr. Cruise performing most of his stunts himself. Even though the plot isn't out yet we are sure it will be an action packed movie, if Tom Cruise will be up to it. What we do know is that the movie is set to be shot in Morocco, the district of Mellah to be exact. Tom Cruise is set to arrive in Morocco in early September 2014 to start shooting. Shooting will also take place in London where a few scenes are set to be shot in the parliament. There will also be a lead female role adjacent to agent Hunt as his partner this time.
The franchise has stayed under ownership of Paramount pictures. With Christopher McQuarrie known for his work on block-busters like Valkyrie and The Usual Suspects shall be directing his third movie when he takes on Mission impossible 5. This relatively green director seems to have impressed Paramount enough for them to trust him with one of their biggest franchises. Drew Pierce shall be writing the screenplay. Mr. Pierce like his director does not have much experience and is also quite the wild card. Clearly Paramount is looking to give the series a fresh look, whatever the case we will have to wait till Christmas 2015 to find out if this team is equal to the task.
