Luke Wareham Releases New Single "God of the Impossible," Featuring Molly Skaggs
"God of the Impossible" is the new single from UK songwriter and worship leader Luke Wareham featuring Molly Skaggs (Cageless Birds) ahead of his new EP that is coming out later this year. The song focuses on how God does the impossible in our lives.
Luke says, "I wrote 'God of the impossible' with my friend Matt Caddick which is based on when Jesus says in Matthew 19:26 'with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible'. This has been my story of God working in my family's life over the past year in situations which seemed hopeless and desperate.
"It has been a privilege to have American songwriter and worship leader Molly Skaggs collaborate on this song. I have found her music inspiring over the years. I particularly love the way Dan Stirling has produced this song as I wanted it to be soothing to our hearts. It was also great to have Jonny Bird mastering and Tim Cooke playing drums on the song."
The God who conquered death and rose to life,
a miracle that changed the path of time
a miracle that changed this path of mine
thank you, Lord.
The overall theme for Luke's new EP Christ Is Lord is about how having Jesus as the centre of our life changes everything! Luke loves to write songs straight from the Bible and for the local church to sing. Psalm 146:2 has inspired these new songs when it says, 'I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live'.
"God of the Impossible" the third single off this new EP is out on the 9th of August and is available to stream and download on all music platforms, the brand-new lyric video is on YouTube and chordcharts are available to download via CCLI Songselect.
