We Are Messengers Drop "I Found Rest," Featuring Ben Fuller
Ahead of their U.S. spring tour, set to launch 3/7 in Waco, Texas, Curb Records' We Are Messengers drops "I Found Rest," which features buzzworthy newcomer and tourmate Ben Fuller. Listen to the brand new track - out today (3/1) - HERE.
We Are Messengers discovers calm in the chaos and peace in the night on "I Found Rest (feat. Ben Fuller)," as Irish-born lead singer Darren Mulligan and Fuller share a powerful testimony of brokenness. Lost in a swirl of guitars, drums and piano, together the two men attest to the relief they've experienced in Christ, inviting listeners to step into a similar solace through a transformative relationship with Jesus.
Today's release marks back-to-back collaborations, following last week's unveiling of "My Hope Is In You," showcasing powerhouse vocalist and the group's labelmate Blanca. Both songs preview We Are Messengers' upcoming studio set, Where The Joy Is, out Apr. 5, 2024. Fans can pre-add/pre-save/pre-order the album HERE.
Overall, We Are Messengers embraces gratitude and the simplicity of the Gospel on Where The Joy Is, radiating as much exuberance as the title suggests. The band's upcoming endeavor boasts 10 pristine, arena-ready pop selections - all co-written by Mulligan alongside an array of the industry's most respected lyricists. In addition to standout collaborations with Fuller and Blanca, the impending collection also includes the driving title-cut, fist-pumping anthem "A Thousand Times" and lead radio single "God Be The Glory."
Giving fans a taste of their new record live, the band recently returned from Australia and New Zealand, where they headlined capacity shows in five different cities, concluding their time down under with a sold-out concert in Brisbane. When We Are Messengers resumes their global "Where The Joy Is Tour" next week, the spring leg will visit 27 U.S. markets with direct support from both Fuller and Jonathan Traylor. Additional international dates are expected to be announced.
"This USA tour is going to be the most joyful, wonderful tour we've ever done," Mulligan says of the band's next run of shows. "Something shifted for us a couple of years ago, and the Lord turned all our mourning to dancing and all our sorrow to joy. It's transformed our lives, and we can't wait to share it with you all. Make sure you grab your tickets today, and we'll see you soon."
