ICF Worship Reaffirms the Miracle Working Power of God with New Single
Swiss worship team ICF Worship drops their brand new single "God of Miracles" via Integrity Music today. The song explores the tension at the heart of the song's title in an encouraging way. ICF Worship's new single tells of the reality of life where supernatural provision and deficit, triumph and fall, gain and loss are all at play.
"God of Miracles" seeks to build faith in the Church as it draws people to worship the miracle-working God who is true to his word and nature. ICF Worship's new single was inspired by the hopeful words of Psalm 77: 10-15: "Then I thought, 'Here is what gives me hope. For many years the Most High God showed how powerful he is. LORD, I will remember what you did. Yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will spend time thinking about everything you have done. I will consider all your mighty acts.' God, everything you do is holy. What God is as great as our God? You are the God who does miracles. You show your power among the nations. With your mighty arm you set your people free. You set the children of Jacob and Joseph free."
"God of Miracles" communicates the importance of keeping childlike faith and worshipping God with a mature spirit amid the tension of life, miracle or not.
ICF Worship has its roots in the ICF Zurich church, founded in 1996 in Switzerland's largest city. Having started with a passion to reach out to people across the country in a contemporary and relevant way, ICF Zurich has flourished into a non-denominational church counting over 3,300 weekend attendees spread across five different locations within the city and its surroundings. ICF is also one of the largest Church planting movements in Europe with over 60 churches in 12 nations.
Yet, ICF Worship are not restricted to being a band of skilled worship songwriters and performers, but are also strongly connected with and focused on local churches part of the ICF family and beyond.
For over 10 years, ICF Worship's music has been growing alongside the church movement, seeing multiple album releases capturing its heart and developing a deeper sense of identity in their song writing and sound in the process. ICF Worship aim to write songs that speak the gospel beyond church walls. This has been expressed in the change seen in recent years as a greater number of the team have brought their skills and diversity to ICF Worship's vibrant song writing.
