"Therefore I Know" came about as Luke, Sarah and Rachel met over zoom to songwrite together. Luke came up with the concept of the song which seeks to remind people of the hope we have in Jesus and the freedom we find in Him. All three songwriters love to use The Bible as the centre of their writing and the song is inspired by Romans 8:1 where the Apostle Paul tells us 'Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus'.
Luke says, "Whatever we are going through in life through the highs and lows and through our ordinary daily lives we can look to what Jesus did for each or us on the cross and say 'Therefore I Know'. I often find when I fix my eyes on Jesus and what he did for each of us that my mindset is turned around and I can say 'therefore' I have for tomorrow... 'therefore' death wheres your sting because of what Jesus did. We hope that through the song people will grow closer to God and have confidence in their identity in Him and the hope we have. "
Luke has this to say about the collaboration, "it has been so great to write with Sarah and Rachel, they are both such great songwriters and encouragers and we cannot wait for everyone to hear the song. We hope that through this song people will grow closer to God and have confidence in their identity in Him."
The song which is hoped to be a useful worship resource is available for download and streaming everywhere and can also be accessed on SongSelect CCLI and Loop Community for chords and tracks.
