Here Are the Lyrics and Video of Josh Baldwin's "Narrow Road"
Bethel Music artist Josh Baldwin releases a new single "Narrow Road" today. The song is the lead single from Baldwin's much anticipated fifth studio album, Where the Glory Is, which will be released on October 21 via Bethel Music. In addition to the single, Baldwin has released an official music video for "Narrow Road" filmed on stage in Nashville. Listen to "Narrow Road" HERE and watch the video HERE.
"Narrow Road" is about those times in life where the journey feels lonely and hard," shares Baldwin. "When you are following the Lord it is not gonna look like the easy road. It requires trust and faith in him. It is about remembering that He is walking with us every step of the way. He will never leave us, we are never alone. There is a greater reward on the narrow road, and it is the road scripture calls us to."
Here are the lyrics and video:
Been walkin' for a while, my feet are gettin' tired
My heart's a little heavy but You keep me goin'
Been walkin' for a while, mile after mile
My soul's a little weary but You keep me goin'
You keep me goin'
You said it'd be a narrow road
You said it'd be a narrow road
So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own
You said it'd be a narrow road
This world would never be my home
The journey might be lonely but I'd never be alone
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'd never be alone
Been walkin' for a while, wanderin' in the wild
You're holdin' me stеady, yeah You keep me goin'
Been walkin' for a while, followin' thе fire
And Your Spirit is within me and It keeps me goin'
You said it'd be a narrow road
You said it'd be a narrow road
So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own
You said it'd be a narrow road
This world would never be my home
The journey might be lonely but I'd never be alone
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'd never be alone
Never be alone, mmm-mmm
I will walk wherever You're leading
Cloud by day and a fire by evening
You're the lamp that's guiding my feet
So I can see where I am going
I will walk wherever You're leading
Cloud by day and a fire by evening
You're the lamp that's guiding my feet
So I can see where I am going
You said it'd be a narrow road
You said it'd be a narrow road
So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own
You said it'd be a narrow road
This world would never be my home
The journey might be lonely but I'd never be alone
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'll never be alone
