The 2022 Quartet Music Awards Take Over Atlanta, GA June 18th
The inaugural Quartet Music Awards (The QMAs) will take place on Saturday, June 18 at Center Stage Theater, 1374 West Peachtree Street in Atlanta, GA. Justin Rufus and The Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones will host the night of legacy, ministry, musicianship, and showmanship.
The awards show will feature performances by Jarrell Smalls, Souls of Creation, The McDonald Sisters, The Canton Spirituals, and more. QMA Honors (living and posthumous) will be presented to the late Lee Williams (Lee Williams and The Spiritual QC's), Tiffanie Tutu Agee (The Truthettes), George Dean (The Gospel 4), Evelyn Turrentine-Agee, Harvey Watkins, Jr. (The Canton Spirituals), Cleve Graham (The Pilgrim Jubilees), Spencer Taylor (The Highway QC's) and the late Percy Griffin (The Swanee Quintet).
The Quartet Music Awards is the vision of D. Chubbs Morton and Connie Birth. Morton is a songwriter, musician, and frontman for the Quartet group D. Morton and Gifted. Birth is a Gospel radio personality and music executive.
Tickets for the QMAs are available via Ticketmaster. The host hotel for the event is Residence Inn by Marriott, located at 134 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA, 30303.
