Here Are the Lyrics & Audio of Rachael Lampa & TobyMac's "Perfectly Loved"
Singer and songwriter Rachael Lampa released her debut album when she was only 15 years-old in the year 2000. Over the years she has scored hits such as "Blessed," "Shaken," "God Loves You," "No Greater Love," and many others. However, Lampa has not graced us with a new album since 2011. Eleven years later, Lampa is back with the release of her new single "Perfectly Loved." Joined by TobyMac on vocals, the song was written by Andrew Ripp & Ethan Hulse.
Here's a listen to the song:
Here are the lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Who said that you weren't beautiful
And that you didn't belong in your own skin?
Who said that you were all alone
And that you're never gonna find love again?
[Pre-Chorus 1]
So many little worlds, so many little lies
That have followed you all of your life
Lookin' for the truth, look into your eyes
And you'll see it's been there the whole time
[Chorus]
Ooh, even when you were runnin'
Even when you were hidin'
Never been a moment that you were not perfectly loved
Whеn you barely believеd it
When your eyes couldn't see it
Every single moment, you've always been perfectly loved
[Post-Chorus]
Ooh, perfectly loved
You've always been perfectly...
[Verse 2]
In the hands of the Infinite
As the wounds of the world became His
See the kindness Heaven has for you
And how He's always been drawing you in
[Pre-Chorus 2]
So many open doors (So many open doors), so many miracles (So many)
That have followed you all of your life
Lookin' for the truth (Lookin' for the truth), look into your eyes (Oh)
And you'll see it's been there the whole time
[Chorus]
Ooh, even when you were runnin'
Even when you were hidin'
Never been a moment that you were not perfectly loved
When you barely believed it
When your eyes couldn't see it
Every single moment, you've always been perfectly loved
[Post-Chorus]
Ooh, perfectly loved, ooh-ooh
[Bridge]
You're not a problem, you're not a mistake
Don't need fixin' to solve it in the arms of His grace
You're perfectly human, made from the dust
You've got a heart, broken and scarred, yet perfectly loved, oh-oh
