Worship Music's Female Duo Mission House Releases "Whole Heart"
Worship Music's female duo Mission House releases their brand new Integrity Music single "Whole Heart." Written by Mission House's Taylor Leonhardt and Jess Ray with Leslie Jordan, 'Whole Heart' is a song about showing up fully to life with Jesus, allowing us to imagine what might happen if we didn't hold any part of ourselves back.It speaks trust in God in the face of our cultural moment, where constant demands of perfection and pretending weigh heavy on our souls.

The new song is paired with 'Good God', a track that Mission House released during lockdown and that they dreamt of singing with their community, declaring the unchanging goodness of God. This version was recorded in a room full of Mission House's friends live in Raleigh as a testament to God's faithfulness to bring us through any situation. For Mission House to weave new and old songs in such cohesive way whilst highlighting their congregational potential shows their songwriting's steadfastness.
Born in 2015 out of a community of friends gathered in living rooms and basements, Mission House is the creative delta formed by artists Jess Ray and Taylor Leonhardt. Aside from being the only female duo in the modern worship space, Mission House are set apart from other artists and groups by how they've been building songs that truly thrive in gatherings. Both Jess and Taylor are phenomenal storytellers, drawing people to who they and the community they are building not only through their songs, but also on stage and screen.
After meeting in their hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina, these kindred hearts on a musical and spiritual level quickly became friends. The folk-rock singer-songwriters began performing at shows together and started a weekly gathering around a simple vision: share a meal and worship together. These times inspired them to write songs they felt their community needed to hear and sing.
