Johnny Manziel Tops NFL Jersey Sales, See Top 10 List for 2014 Including Colin Kaepernick, Peyton Manning & Tom Brady Here 

Johnny Manziel might be described as a distraction to many, but he is also a cash cow and great for business in Cleveland. Johnny Football is a marketing machine and now his No. 2 Browns jersey is the NFL Shop's top-selling jersey through the first portion of 2014's fiscal year. 

Manziel is the most talked about football player since Tebow and his jersey sales are showing the impact and he hasn't even played an official NFL snap yet. 

Who did he beat out? Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (2nd), 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick (3rd), Broncos quarter back Peyton Manning (4th), Seahawks Richard Sherman (5th), fellow rookie Michael Sam (6th), Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (7th), Saints quarterback Drew Brees (8th), Pacers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (9th) and Seahawks fan jersy (10th). 

The Super Bowl champion Seahawks clearly dominate the list with Wilson (2nd), Richard Sherman (5th), Marshawn Lynch (11th) and Earl Thomas (12th) check in, as did the "12th Man" jersey many Seattle fans wear (10th).

The other rookies to break in the Top 25 after Manziel and Sam were Teddy Bridgewater (13th), Jadeveon Clowney (16th) and Blake Bortles (18th).

The biggest surprise of all, though? The Browns are the THIRD best-selling team. In the NFL. Out of all the teams!

This is the first time a Browns player has led the jersey sales tally since the league began counting in 2001. Brady Quinn entered 2007 season as the No. 2 player in jersey sales but would only throw eight passes for the Browns that year. 

Another big surprise for Browns fans is that they are the third best-selling team overall in the NFL on the new 2014 list as well. So at least right now, business is good for the Browns.
