Zach Williams Thanks God, Dolly Parton & Cites Scripture for His Double Wins at the K-LOVE Fan Awards
Two-time GRAMMY Award® and multi-GMA Dove Award® winner Zach Williams is elated to be honored with two awards at last night's K-LOVE Fan Awards. Williams took home the trophies for Male Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for his duet with Dolly Parton, "There Was Jesus."
"I am honored to have won Male Artist of the Year and Song of the Year tonight at the @klovefanawards," Williams shares."I thank God every day for this platform he has given me. As a songwriter, I always remember Psalm 19 - "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." ⠀
And as an artist, I always remember Colossians 3 - "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." ⠀
⠀
Special thanks to @dollyparton for not only collaborating, but being a champion for "There was Jesus," and a big thank you to all of you for voting for me this year. I don't take this honor lightly. Let's keep it going! From the bottom of my heart - thank you!" ⠀
The K-LOVE Fan Awards mission is to create a fan experience that celebrates and promotes artists, athletes, authors and entertainers who, with excellence, engage and impact popular culture for Jesus Christ. This year's show will be hosted Matthew West. The annual awards show is a John Sanders LLC production presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated.
