Australian Singer and Songwriter Bel Thomson Returns with "Seasons"
Australian singer and songwriter Bel Thomson returns with her 4th album on February 6. "Seasons" was recorded in Nashville, USA with executive producer Ed Cash (Kari Jobe, Rend Collective, Chris Tomlin). The album features 10 new songs co-written and written by Bel herself.
"I've been hard at work writing and labouring over fresh songs which share a message of God's goodness and faithfulness, portrayed through the lens of my own experience. The album features 10 tracks and was produced in Nashville by the same team that worked on my 3rd album "A New Creation". My heart is for these songs to encourage, comfort and inspire people, and we are praying that this album will impact thousands of lives, through songs that express a deeply personal faith and hope!" Bel writes.
The first single "With You" is now being picked up by ratio stations nationally and has entered Australia's TCM Christian Music top 30 chart. "I wrote it during a difficult season in my life when I was struggling with depression, and feeling overwhelmed," Bel explains. "It's a reminder that God is always with me, even when He feels far away. He's my hope."
"Seasons" is filled with personal testimonies of how God has been faithful to Bel throughout the various seasons of her journey. "More than just a soundtrack to my life of the past few years, these songs are a commentary on those times... you might say they are my 'self-talk'... the words and melodies that have helped me move through difficult moments and seasons with faith and hope."
Bel is an award-winning Australian Christian singer, songwriter and speaker. Bel loves to share a message of encouragement through her inspiring songs and real-life stories of faith & hope. Bel shares at conferences, events, women's gatherings, schools as well as churches of all denominations and traditions across the country.
