As We Ascend Signs With Vital Records/Daywind Music Group
Newly formed rock band, As We Ascend, is proud to partner with Vital Records and Daywind Music Publishing, a division of Daywind Music Group, distributed by New Day Christian Distributors.
Comprised of guitarists Justin Forshaw and Jake Jones (both former guitarists of We As Human), and Robert Venable on drums, As We Ascend has already released their first single, "Wash Away" to radio, where it is currently climbing the Billboard Christian Rock chart.
In a unique artist-to-fan engagement process, the band launched a highly successful crowd funding campaign that allowed anyone who pledged $50 or more to become 'A Label Executive" with full access to the songwriting and production stages of the process via online tools and constant communication with members of the band.
Chad Green, Sr. Creative Director of Vital Records & DMP, says "Not only am I a fan of the music of As We Ascend, I am even more a fan of these guys. Jake, Justin, and Robert are incredible men who seek to make a real difference in their genre and, ultimately, in the hearts of all who hear. They are tackling some heavy and highly personal subject matter in these songs, and from the initial response, the songs are being very well received. To say I'm thrilled to work and partner with As We Ascend would be a gross understatement."
The forthcoming debut album, Farewell To Midnight, is slated to release in early 2017.
Daywind Music Publishing services an impressive roster of acclaimed songwriters including Jason Cox, Gerald Crabb, Chris Cron, Michael Fordinal, Ricky Free, Marty Fundeburk, Joseph Habedank, Scott Inman, Justin Kintzel, Brandon Sharp, Devin McGlamery, Aaron Rice, Kyla Rowland, John Darin Rowsey, Belinda Smith, Sue Smith, Lee Black, Aaron Wilburn and Dianne Wilkinson.
