Find Out Which Christian Artist is Releasing a Christmas Album This Fall
Christmas is around the corner. It's time to brighten our ears with the sounds and music proclaiming the birth of Christ. Sharing her first new Christmas album in nearly 20 years, Amy Grant will unveil Tennessee Christmas this holiday season. Comprised of 13 songs, Tennessee Christmas is a blend of heartfelt originals tapping into themes of family, love and even the grief the season can bring to Grant's spin on Yuletide classics perennially synonymous with this special time of year. Her new Christmas effort will offer a duet with her hubby Vince Gill singing "Baby, It's Cold Outside."
"Music has always been a part of our family Christmas... thank you so much for letting our family Christmas be a part of yours." And with that, the six-time GRAMMY winner invites us all to be together this holiday season.
On October 7, celebrate "the most wonderful time of the year" with Bill & Gloria Gaither and their HOMECOMING Friends who bring to life signature performances of 12 classic Christmas favorites, including "Joy To The World," "Go Tell It On The Mountain," "Mary, Did You Know?" and more. Sing along with Mark Lowry, Vestal Goodman, David Phelps, Guy Penrod, Christ Church Choir and other award-winning gospel artists as they commemorate the hope of Jesus' birth.
Coming on October 21st is Lauren Daigle first fetive release Behold. The album plays like an audio time capsule built of saxes, trombones and other horns (even tubas!), upright bass, brushes on drums, mellow sounding hollow body guitars, and vocals that are rich and distinctive but still somehow laid-back in their feel. Whereas Lauren Daigle's debut album was energy-laced, radio-ready pop, her Christmas project seems in some ways to be a confident re-imagining of her own versatile vocal gifts, showcased in a more mature and subdued, but also more eloquent, context.
Behold includes nine yuletide standards and one original-a tender, jazz reinterpretation of Lauren's first radio single Light of the World.Worshipful favorites like O Come All Ye Faithful and What Child Is This (here given a unique, uptempo feel with a fun tip-of-the-hat toFavorite Things from The Sound of Music) take their places alongside festive holiday fare like Jingle Bells and Merry Little Christmas.
Also, released on October 21 is Oak Ridge Boys' Celebrate Christmas. Enjoy the songs of Christmas with the classic, four-part harmonies of these Country and Gospel Music Hall of Fame legends. Known for their annual Christmas tour that has packed venues across the country for decades, Duane, William Lee, Joe and Richard have recorded holiday favorites, old and new, showcasing their unmistakable, warm tones. From "Jingle Bells" to "Away In A Manger," The Boys bring to life the fun and joy of the season while reminding us of the real reason we Celebrate Christmas.
Listeners looking for a gospel take on holiday classics and seasonal favorites will find much to love on the new Gospel project CHRISTMAS (releases October 27) from multi-Stellar Award winning producer and artist, Phillip Carter & SOV (Sounds of Victory). This inspiring new collection is performed by the renowned Carter & SOV choir, with superior voice and musical stylings.
Phillip Carter is a nationally known Stellar Award-winning artist, musician, clinician, preacher and songwriter. He is the host of Real Talk with Phillip Carter on www.SpiritCo1.com.
