Thousand Foot Krutch Releases “Push” To Radio July 12
Rock favorites Thousand Foot Krutch have charted eight Active Rock hit singles just since going independent in 2012, and are now set to launch their second single, "Push," from the album EXHALE, which released last month amidst wide acclaim on TFK Music and with marketing, sales and distribution through Fuel Music.
The aggressive follow-up to the band's 2014 album, OXYGEN:INHALE, EXHALE has already sparked the video and current top 23 Active Rock (No. 15 in Canada) hit single, "Running With Giants." The hard-hitting follow-up single, "Push," is meant to further break down barriers.
"Push equals no boundaries," says TFK frontman Trevor McNevan. "This song's about refusing to be put in a box, not allowing others to tell us who we are or what we're about. No limits. No fears. No excuses. It's about staying true to your inspirations and convictions."
Staying true to themselves, Thousand Foot Krutch members McNevan, bassist Joel Bruyere and drummer Steve Augustine have carved an independent path that has racked up stronger first week sales than any of its major label album debuts. EXHALE hit No. 1 on iTunes' Rock Top Albums chart (No. 3 overall Albums) in the US with Top 5 overall albums chart placement in multiple countries during its release week, while becoming the band's third consecutive No. 1 on the Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart.
"Digging this new Thousand Foot Krutch record," tweeted Apple Music to its 8.49 million followers June 20, as they exclusively streamed EXHALE week of release. Other outlets like Tattoo.com, Music Existence, The Front Row Report, Pure M magazine, Cryptic Rock, Sonic Sound Magazine, HM Magazine, Play It Loud Productions, Rockstars Glued, Evigshed Mag, NewReleaseToday.com, CCM Magazine and many more are lauding the new album.
As "Push" begins its ascent on the radio charts, "Running With Giants" has already launched TFK into the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame while holding its ninth consecutive week in Loudwire's "Battle Royale" and being broadcast through outlets like Promo Only, iHeartRadio, Music Choice, Much Music, UP TV and many more.
EXHALE also features riff rocker "Incomplete" and second chances-themed "Born Again" along with "Give Up The Ghost" and "A Different Kind Of Dynamite." Revolver further premiered the album's lyric video, "Lifeline." Available now from iTunes, Amazon.com, Best Buy and everywhere great music is sold internationally, EXHALE is meant to shake stereo speakers and earbuds, all the while being crafted to be fully experienced live. Taking the new arena-shaking anthems and fan favorites on the road to see their extended family of fans coast-to-coast, TFK was featured for the first time on the mainstage at Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion and performed during the festival's Alternative Press-hosted Zippo Acoustic Sessions. The band's acoustic rendition of Soundgarden's "Outshined" during this set, which was streamed live on Alternative Press's Facebook page reaching up to one million fans, is available now as a Zippo Encore and PRS Guitars sponsored video on Alternative Press.
Thousand Foot Krutch also made its first-ever mainstage performance at Rocklahoma, and embarks on its own headline "Exhale" tour beginning July 15 in Lancaster, OH. The tour travels through mid-August and will be joined by fellow rockers Adelitas Way, Smashing Satellites and 3 Pill Morning. TFK also joins Skillet for a run of dates this fall.
