Austin & Lindsey Adamec Offer Easter Anthems “It Is Finished,” “Infinite Grace” On Self-Titled Debut EP
Worship leader, multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Austin Adamec and acclaimed vocalist, songwriter and former 1 Girl Nation member Lindsey Adamec release their self-titled debut EP from Radiate Music March 25 with The Fuel Music distribution. Available for pre-order now on iTunes, Austin & Lindsey Adamec features the first radio single "Walk on Waves," which goes to radio March 14, as well as the Easter-like declarations "Infinite Grace" and "It Is Finished," each pointing the way to the bigger picture in God's plan.
Though on the same label in the beginning of their marriage, Austin and Lindsey rarely saw each other as tours took the newlyweds in opposite directions. Austin describes these days as some of the darkest in his life. The song, "It Is Finished," captures these struggles and paths that helped bring this couple together to collaborate on the new EP. Hope came through hearing anew the last words of Jesus while on the cross.
"'It is finished' meant that the work of Christ put an end to the striving to earn God's favor. An end to the fears, worries and all the accolades and trophies we were trying to bring to God," says Austin. "All of our works drown in His grace. He loves us with an everlasting love."
I am Yours,
The highest price was paid,
And all my works,
are drowning in Your grace.
For it is finished,
Jesus, it is finished.
By the power of Your blood,
the grave is overcome
A similar rejoicing in the sufficiency of the cross builds the theme in "Infinite Grace." Inspired by Max Lucado's book, In the Grip of Grace, which describes the infinite gap sin creates between us and God, the song showcases the beauty of the bridge of grace. The inspiring melody does not shy away from the details of the cross, engaging worshippers to join in the declaration.
"The song is so emotional. Every time we play it, I'm in tears, because I'm thinking about the sacrifice that God made when he sent Jesus to be in our lives and to give us life," shares Lindsey. Austin adds, "We hope the lyrics of this song moves others in the same way it moves us. It states: Your crimson blood pouring out for us / left a mark that history cannot erase / crucified with thieves / the King of Kings / Your sacrifice, Your beautiful display / of infinite grace."
As the Adamecs share these new songs for the Church to sing during the Easter season and beyond,Worship Leader Magazine is offering its subscribers a free download of "It Is Finished" along with the song's chord chart. ChurchLeaders.com is similarly giving away the song and chord chart as a resource for lead worshippers as they ready upcoming Easter services around the world.
Like the aforementioned songs, all the tracks featured on Austin & Lindsey Adamec are worship anthems telling the story of personal and spiritual victory, celebrating the presence of God.
Produced by Grammy-nominated, two-time Dove Award-winning Producer of the Year, Ian Eskelin, every aspect of this EP, from lyrics to artwork to instrumentation and musicianship, has been intentionally and meticulously crafted. Austin and Lindsey wanted every single thing to matter, from the songs to the music to the artwork, all expressions of their life lived in the presence of God. The depth of detail even in the EP's cover art is shared by the couple in the video at
While the road to the new recording was fraught with challenges that refined the newly married couple's faith and strengthened their bond, the Adamecs have come to discover they are better together, in life and in music. See video introduction of this new duo at
"We're just worship leaders from Jacksonville, Florida, who love to sing together, who are married, and who enjoy proclaiming all God is doing in our lives," says Lindsey. "If we're going to write about His presence, we have to go there. You can't take people where you haven't been."
