Jon White Decides to Leave Capital Kings
Jon White, one half of the Christian music duo Capital Kings, has announced that he has decided to leave the team. Jon White and Cole Walowac formed Capital Kings while still living in their hometown of Washington D.C. Jon White stated that he met Cole in his church nursery and that "we started playing in the youth group band... Cole would play drums and I would sing and that's how we started making music.
In a heartfelt post on instagram and facebook, Jon shared "Just wanted to say thank you for everything! As of January this year, I have decided to step away from Capital Kings. It has been an amazing journey, and I have been blessed to work with some amazing people along the way! TobyMac and everyone at Gotee Records, True Artist Management, Capitol Music and CAA, have sincerely impacted my life and I am more than thankful for our years together. I am looking forward to continuing music in the future but unsure in what form."
Cole Walowac offered his thoughts as well. "It's been an incredible start to Capital Kings with Jon and as a friend, I am grateful for the first few years together," Cole shared. "Looking ahead I'm excited to continue this journey with you all as my heart and passion continues to be in Capital Kings."
