Virtue's "Walk It Out" Added to Starbucks Coffee's Newly Lauched Digital Music Experience
Virtue's (Karima Kibble, Ebony Holland, and Heather Martin) pulsating Top 30 workout anthem "Walk It Out" has been added to Starbucks Coffee Company's (Nasdaq: SBUX) newly launched digital music experience with leading streaming music service Spotify, allowing Starbucks Mobile App customers to immediately discover music. In addition to being able to discover music playing overhead at a participating Starbucks store, Starbucks Mobile App users will now be able to view recently played songs, save songs to a personal playlist on Spotify.
"Walk It Out" is lifted from Virtue's forthcoming anticipated 7th studio album FEARLESS (Mixed Bag Enteratainment) that's slated to hit all digital outlets and stores February 26, 2016. Fans can pre-order the project now via iTunes (https://goo.gl/jqujvB) and receive three instant grat tracks: the group's uplifting Top 20 single "You Are," the title-track "Fearless" featuring RCA Records rapper Dee-1 and the Top 30 single "Walk It Out". The group's forthcoming 16-track collection features production by GRAMMY®-winning super producers Fred Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston), Mark Kibble (Take 6, BeBe & CeCe Winans), Asaph Ward (The Clark Sisters, Mary J Blige), and Alvin Garrett (Joe, Ruben Studdard) to name a few. The trio also offer remakes of the Pop ballad "More Than Words" (first performed by the rock band Extreme) and "Miracle" from The Clark Sisters.
With nearly 20 years in the music industry and nearly 500K in career sales (according to Nielsen Soundscan) Virtue is known for hits such as "Get Ready", "Greatest Part of Me", "Follow Me", "Put Your War Clothes On" and more and have released six projects between 1997 and 2006 (Four of which peaking in the Top 10 on Billboard). After a lengthy hiatus, they returned to the industry in 2014 signing with the Mixed Bag Entertainment imprint, headed up by Stellar Award winning hip-hop artist Da' T.R.U.T.H. They would then release the single "You Are", which spent eight consecutive weeks in the Top 20 on Billboard and MediaBase Gospel Airplay charts and reissued their 2006 effort, titling the project Testimony Reloaded in 2015 with the project peaking in the Top 20 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart.
