RED Releases Their First Graphic Novel
Christian hard rock band RED doesn't just sing, they have now extended their reportoire to include writing graphic novels. They have just released their first graphic novel The Ever, which ties into the storyline behind their last album Of Beauty & Rage, is now available online and at shows.
"Inspired by the mysterious and epic storyline that has been running through the band's musical and video content over the past decade, platinum-selling rock band RED has co-written the graphic novel entitledThe Ever with their producer, Rob Graves," the band shares in their official description of the book. "The graphic novel follows and precedes the action-filled and self-reflective journey RED has created for their fans and inspired songs on their latest album, of Beauty and Rage. The Ever depicts RED as they encounter the darkness that we all face, follows their tumultuous path through, and ends with a surprising twist."
The graphic novel is now available here or at their merch table as they continue to tour across the country with WinterJam through April. The band writes: "Our Graphic Novel is now available at shows!!! DON'T MISS the novel come to life on stage at Winterjam 2016!!!"
Hard Rock group RED received a RIAA Gold Certification for their single "Breathe Into Me." The song is taken from from their album, End of Silence.This honor comes on the heels of their sixth GMA Dove Award win for "Rock Album of the Year" for their recent release, of Beauty and Rage (2015).
Known for their intense live show, RED concluded the month-long run of their headline branded "REDvolution" tour last year in Nashville at Rocketown with special guests Capital Kings, Tedashii and Wolves At The Gate. RED will be on the 2016 spring Winter Jam tour hitting more than 45 arenas and stadiums across the country.
RED is the winner of six GMA Dove Awards, two Top 10 Active Rock singles, three Top 10 Mainstream Rock singles and 19 consecutive No. 1 hits at Christian radio. The band has sold more than one million albums collectively with of Beauty and Rage, Release The Panic, Until We Have Faces, Innocence & Instinct and End of Silence. RED is Michael Barnes (vocals) and twin brothers Anthony Armstrong (guitar) and Randy Armstrong (bass). The band also boasts more than one million Facebook fans.
