The Originals Season 2 Spoilers, Recap, News And Latest Reveals: Esther, Mother To Nicklaus And Elijah Intends To Purify Her Sons From The Disease She Brought Upon Them, 'Vampirism'

We have the latest news for you on the spoilers, recap, news and latest reveals of The Originals season 2. It is now no longer a battle to control the city of New Orleans between the Wolves, Witches and the Vampires, but now it has transformed into a family feud between the original family as on one side it is Klaus and Elijah who are pressed against the wall as they fight to cleanse the French quarter to make it safe for Klaus and Hailey's daughter safe, while on another corner, Esther, mother to Nicklaus and Elijah has come back from the dead and she brought with her Finn and Kol who are now witches. Her motives are now known as she intends to purify her sons from the disease she brought upon them that is 'Vampirism'. On the other hand Davina's rage made her bring back Mikael from the dead with the intent of killing Nicklaus, what a twisted family reunion it is, according to Franchise Herald news reports.

A recap of the previous episode, saw a faceoff between the wolves under Esther's control who were forcing all the remaining vampires out of New Orleans. To make their forces stronger Finn forces Aiden the pack leader to make the young ones kill to turn on their wolf gene which he is opposed to. He sticks a deal with Marcel and Elijah to save the Kids but that was exactly what Finn had planned so as to capture Elijah under Ester's orders. Elijah in turn teaches Gia how to fight and defend herself in the face of war but are interrupted by Hailey just when the lesson was heating up to some intimacy.

Oliver and Elijah agree to stand as bait for the wolves as the kids are safely transported out of the city by Marcel, Hailey and Josh. Elijah is able to fend off the attacking wolves by ripping them apart, but is interrupted by Finn who uses his witchcraft, when he tries to fight back he is captured buy Esther.

On the other side of town, Klaus catches wind of Davina and confronts her which leads to a full on fight between Klaus and his farther Mikael. The two engage in battle but it ends with Mikael being stabbed by a hexed Blade that causes anguish and pain. Just before the episode ends, Mikael pulls out the blade and all suspense is left for us to wonder what will occur in tonight's episode.
