The most powerful "man" in the world is a woman! The new series of NBC is all about two women who will change the world. The drama series is about Constance Payton (Alfre Woodard), the first black female president of the United States. Her life will go smoothly with Charleston "Charlie" Tucker (Katherine Heigl) by her side. Charlie is a CIA analyst who handles the President's Daily Briefing or simply called PDB. She is the 'gatekeeper' of President Woodward; deciding what crucial decisions or situations the president should know and handle on a daily basis.
But Charlie is not just the right-hand person of the commander-in-chief; she could have been her daughter-in-law. Charlie got engaged to Aaron Payton (Mark Tallman), the president's son, before a horrific terrorist attack killed him. Being a survivor in the same cataclysmic event did not just make Charlie more determined in serving her country and the president, but she will also do everything to get justice for her fiancée.
Other characters in the new TV series are: Adam Kaufman as Lucas Newsome; David Harbour as Chief of Staff David Patrick; James Remar as Syd Vaslo; Sheila Vand as Maureen James; Tommy Savas as Dashiell Greer and Cliff Chamberlain as Kurt Tannen.

On the lighter side of things ...
Doing sexy scenes is nerve wrecking. And, to lessen the tension, the "State of Affairs" crew took off their shirts as a sign of support to Katherine Heigl who had to do a sexy scene with her co-star Mark Tallman. The instagram photo shows Heigl and some of the crew semi naked in bed. Her funny caption states "Nope I haven't gone into the adult film business... just having a little fun w/ my amazingly supportive crew who shed their shirts in solidarity!! Love you all!!@carnajoe@tallmanmark".
