JK Rowling New Story: Harry Potter On Show for the Halloween
'Harry Potter' On Show for the Halloween: JK Rowling New Story
Just in time for the Halloween, mystery and thrill certainly awaits the Harry Potter aficionados as Entertainment Weekly revealed that JK Rowling's new story will be aired live on October 31, at her website, Pottermore.com.
The core of the 1,700-word literary work is Harry Potter's bitter enemy Dolores Umbridge. One thing exceptional about Umbridge is her capacity to injure Harry. On one occasion, he left a permanent scar on him using a Blood Quill, a piece of dark magic. Former Hogwarts professor and a witch, Umbridge also appeared in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2003 and her character was played by Imelda Staunton in the film.
Daily Mail reported that the author's spokesman voiced out that the new story will be "filled with many new details" which would also reveal JK Rowling's personal thoughts about the character of a Hogwarts Professor.
Aside from the upcoming new story, Rowling is also into other Potter-related endeavours. She has submitted proposals on creating a cottage inspired by Hagrid's Hut, the Hogwarts caretaker.
With the undying interest of Harry Potter's fans for another novel, Dailymail reported that nothing is definite yet when it comes to that. JK Rowling said that, "I have always refused to say "never" to this question, because I think it would be foolish to rule out something I might want to do in a few years' time. However, I have no immediate plans to write another Harry Potter novel, and I do think that I have rounded off Harry's story in the seven published books.'' The first one in 2001, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone; in 2002, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets; in 2004, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban; 2005, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire; 2007, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix; 2009, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince; and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 and 2, in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
Fans of Harry Potter are looking forward to be encircled once more by the magical world of wizardry as Halloween is fast approaching.
