Finding the right actor who could embody the unique and complex character of Dracula has been an extremely challenging task for the "Dracula Untold" filmmakers. It was a challenge for them to find a fresh face that has the ability to portray the role of an iconic character and having Luke Evans to play the role of Drakula was never a mistake.
According to Movies Inquirer, Luke Evans, a popular British actor, had just made an impression on filmmakers after he portrayed the role of the villain in "Fast & Furious 6" and as "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" movie's Bard the Bowman.
Luke Evans was able to give justice to the character and the movie director, Gary Shore even shared that Luke has an incredible face that can actually tell a story. Upon seeing and meeting with Luke, he was very certain that there was nobody else in the industry with the kind of presence Luke Evans has to take on Vlad the warrior and the Impaler.
Luke transforms from a cursed man history known as Vlad the Impaler to a very powerful and strong creature of the night and his impressive portrayal in the film "Dracula Untold" is one of the best things about the movie.
Technology Tell revealed that one of the highlights in "Dracula Untold" are the acting performances of the actors. Luke once again showed that he has what it takes to become a leading man. He actually possesses the right amount of a shadowy nature and charisma that created a perfect blend of villain and hero. He continues to prove that he is a great actor and can catch the attention of his audience, regardless of the role he plays.
Screen Rant also added that in each of Luke's role, one can see that he was built for a leading man status. Luke Evans is a theater-trained actor who runs a complete range of action, from drama, horrific intensity to action. Indeed, Luke Evans gave justice to playing the unique role of Dracula in the film "Dracula Untold."
