Gamers are thrilled since the third installment in the Kingdom Hearts series is coming to town.
Kingdom Hearts III is an upcoming action role-playing game. It also serves as the eighth installment in the Kingdom Hearts series.
Sora will the main character of the game, as a protagonist once again. Returning characters include Riku, Donald duck, Goofy, and King Mickey. Familiar Disney characters will also be included. Sora, Donald, and Goofy will embark on a mission of searching for the seven guardians of light and the Key to Return Hearts. Mickey and Riku, on the other hand, will be looking for prior Keyblade welders. In order to achieve balance between light and darkness, the characters have to combat Master Xehanort's nasty plot. The final part is an ultimate showdown between Sora and master Xehanort.
According to IGN, the keyblade remains as the iconic weapon for the game, since the first Kingdom Hearts series. however, the weapon presents its new feature. It can transform into another weapon such as guns. Moreover, the keyblade can transform into other kinds of weapons, allowing and adding variety in the player's battle style. Players can hope for the comeback of King Mickey's Kingdom Key D, Riku's Way to the Dawn, Master Eraqus's Keyblade, and Kairi's Destiny's Embrace.
With regard to enemies, IGN notes that there will many a number of different enemies in the game. The Heartless are one of the main types of enemies in the Kingdom Hearts series and they serve as the main villains to combat. Most of them are called Purebloods and they mostly originate from the darkness in people's heart. As villains, they target to obtain more hearts. There are some Heartless created by Ansem, seeker of Darkness. Ansem's Heartless has his emblem on them, unlike the purebloods.
The game is developed by Square Enix and published by Disney Interactive Studios. While can be run in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it will be the first Kingdom Hearts game that will operate on a Microsoft platform. The company has decided to release Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, the HD remake of the first and second Kingdom Hearts, as indicated in Christian Post.
As per Kdramastars, there are also rumors about a scene where Iron Man recruits Sora in order to overthrow Darth Vader. The scene is to appear after the final credits of the game.
