Samsung Galaxy A5: Specs, Release Date and More
Many are about the Samsung's upcoming midrange smartphone, the Galaxy A5, because as we all know, we can get this new phone early because it's going on sale on November.
We already know a lot about the rumoured Samsung Galaxy A5 thanks to a series of leaks that we see around, such as the fact that it will share the same unibody design as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, according to Tech Radar.
We've also seen detailed information about the specifications of the A5, including benchmark results that suggest it will run a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor. The latest rumours contained information about the similarly-leaky Samsung Galaxy A7. Previous leaks suggested that the A7's screen size would be 5.5-inch.
Sam Mobile also had another post about the A7's display - in China it will apparently come with a full HD display. Whether this resolution will be present in other countries when the A7 is launched has not been disclosed, but there's a good chance that the information will leak eventually.
Going back to A5, as we said, that might not sound like a huge difference but the Snapdragon 410 has 64-bit architecture, while the 400 is only 32-bit. That means is that the 410 can access more memory at once, potentially leading to improved performance, though its not marked as on a top end handset.
It also has a 1080p video camera and the phone will be running Android 4.4.4, though presumably it will get an upgrade to Android L at some point to make the most of its 64-bit capabilities.
We still need to wait for the latest announcement of Samsung regarding the A5 Galaxy Phone. Let's hope that all the rumours will be confirmed and more details to come, so that we can design as soon as possible if the Android phone is worth to buy.
