'Two And A Half Men' Alum Charlie Sheen To Focus More On Children, Calls Off Engagement With Porn Star Brett Rossi
"Anger Management" actor Charlie Sheen has confirmed he and his porn star fiancée Brett Rossi called their engagement off just a few weeks before their wedding in November.
Despite their breakup, Sheen has nothing but good words for Rossi, who he fondly calls Scotty and described as "a terrific gal," but he said they made a mutual decision to go their "separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together."
"Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list," the 49-year-old actor sad in a statement issued to E! News.
While he still has "a tremendous fondness" for Rossi and wish her all the best, he said, "I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now.
Sheen has five children, Cassandra Jade Estevez, 25, Sam J. Sheen, 10, Lola Rose Sheen, 9, and the twins, Bob and Max, 5.
Earlier this year, after Sheen proposed to Rossi during a Valentine's Day escapade in Hawaii, the couple announced their engagement.
At the time, Rossi described Sheen as her best friend and her soul mate. It was in Nov. 2013 when they first went public as a couple when they were spotted together at a hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Weeks before the announcement of their breakup, Sheen made headlines after allegedly sexually assaulting a dental technician, Margarita Palestino.
In a lawsuit she filed against Sheen, Palestino accused the actor of entering the dental clinic while high on cocaine and grabbed her left breast and bra strap and his assistant of bribing her with $500 for the trouble Sheen caused.
The allegations were denied by the dental himself and Sheen.
Sheen's lawyer told TMZ it was a "ridiculous claim by an opportunist looking to make her 15 minutes of fame and my client is confident he will prevail in this absurd lawsuit."
Meanwhile, the "Anger Management" star is reportedly interested in returning to "Two And A Half Men," which is set to premiere its 12th season on Oct. 30.
A coincidence to Sheen's recent breakup is a "Two And A Half Men" episode titled "A Chic Bar In Ibiza" to be aired on Nov. 6 featuring Alan (John Cryer) hesitating about getting married after Walden (Ashton Kutcher) asked him to sign a pre-nup, according to Broadway World.
