'The Affair' Season 1 Premiere, Latest News, Updates: Will Noah and Ruth's affair survive?

"The Affair" is a serious drama series based on the extra marital affair of Dominic West portrayed as Noah Solloway and Ruth Wilson as Alison Lockhart. They get attracted to each other when they meet at a dinner. They were not specifically looking for an affair but they feel something for each other. They plan to spend some time together. "The Affair" is shot on an island that has breath-taking views.

Alison is suffering due to the loss of her child and is unable to cope up in marriage. Noah on the other hand is a schoolteacher. He stays in New York and is struggling to finish his second novel. He has a family with four children and wife.  His wife is show as a successful businesswoman.

It is a beautiful story of two human beings searching for some comfort and peace in their own lives. This story would do a reality check on many of the viewer's going through the same phase in their married lives.  There are emotions involved in the drama. That is the USP of the show.

Other unique point of the show is that Noah and Alison will narrate their meetings separately. Their thinking process and viewpoints will be different.

It is shown that Noah has a perfect family with a wife and four kids. There everything is neat and clear. The relationship with his wife is good still there is something lacking. As it goes getting married to someone is easy but maintaining a healthy relationship to keep the marriage going is tough. This is what is seen in the new drama "The Affair".

Alison is shown too disconnected with her husband and family after the loss of her four year child. Her husband tries to do every possible thing to keep her happy and connected. She is lost and wants to focus on other things rather than her husband. This is the complexity of any relationship.

"The Affair" seems to be promising and is bound to keep its viewers glued to the screen.
