American Horror Story Season 4 Episode Spoilers and Preview: Strongman and Three-Breasted Lady Join Elsa Mars Troupe; Dandy Gets Play Date For His Own Freak Show
American Horror Story: Freak Show Season 4 episode 2 which airs Wednesday, October 15, at the 10 PM time slot on the FX network is entitled "Massacres and Matinees." Written by Tim Minear and directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, in the second installment in the horror anthology TV series, a citywide curfew will be imposed which could threaten the Freak Show to shut down. Also, a strongman from bearded lady Ethel Darling's (Kathy Bates) troubled past will be arriving at the carnival camp.
The strongman, Dell Toledo (Michael Chikliss), will be revealed as the father of Jimmy the Lobster Boy (Evan Peters) and the ex-husband of Ethel. He is the current husband of Desiree Dupree (Angela Bassett), also a freak with her three breasts. Dell and Desiree will apply for and get work with Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) since all the other traveling freak shows have already closed. Dell is also on the run and is hiding from the law. Dell will become the new big man on the carnival camp, leading to possible friction with his son who used to be the alpha male of the pack.
Elsewhere on the camp, the conjoined Tattler twins, Bette and Dot (Sarah Paulson), will be revealing a special talent they have developed which could dislodge Elsa Mars from being the star of the show.
Meanwhile, Gloria Mott (Frances Conroy) will be arranging a terrifying play date for her son Dandy (Finn Wittrock) who aspires to join a freak show since he feels like he's one of them. The wealthy Gloria though is determined to keep him away from Elsa's Freak Show so she collects her own freaks to rival that of the German expatriate.
