MacBook Air, Pro 2014 to have release date in October alongside OS X Yosemite?
Tech giant Apple is showcasing its releases one after another. The new releases will probably include 2014 versions of MacBook Air and MacBook Pro along with the latest OS update OS X Yosemite. If everything goes according to plan, all the releases will take place in the current month.
The OS X Yosemite will be able to cope up with the latest iOS 8 and some major changes will be noticed in the iCloud Drive and AirDrop. AirDrop allows user to share personal information from iOS device to iOS device or OS X device to another. AirDrop will be expanding its content or file sharing system and will operate faster.
Apple's new OS idea was revealed in June named as OS X 10.10 Yosemite. The update can be downloaded and installed from iTunes Like previous updates this version will also be free of charge. The prototype beta version of OS Yosemite was available previously but this week the Gold Master version has made its presence towards the developers. Therefore, the final and official release of the latest OS Yosemite will probably be available within two weeks.
Though the prototype version has already been prepared and now the Gold Master edition has arrived, there are still some bugs. Apple is running its performance and programming test to make sure a bug free edition. As Apple had to roll back the release date of iOS 8 for some HealthKit bug issue, the company is working hard to avoid any kind of complications this time around.
It is rumored that the OS X Yosemite will appear on October 21 alongside the latest MacBook Pro and MacBook Air with Retina display. However, the release date is still not confirmed by the company. The new MacBook air will feature 12-inch display size. The Retina display will be available as expected with Quad HD screen. It will have provision for touchscreen feature with better battery capacity. The new design will probably come out with three colors: silver, gold and space gray.
