Boxtrolls Reviews, Cast, Reveals, Details, Reports and Plot Updates: More Details come out about the Plot

The Boxtrolls is premiered on September 26^th this year. It is loosely based on the fantasy movie, Here Be Monsters! As such, The Boxtrolls brings us to a world of both the absurd and the interesting.  In the plot of the movie, Lord Portley-Rind presides over the town of Cheesebridge where the people barricade their homes against the Boxtrolls. Soon there is rumor that these scurrying mischief makers have stolen and devoured an infant when in actual fact, they just adopted the child. On come the people and the pitch forks. Archibald Snatcher offers to exterminate every last one and of course everyone obliges to the fact. Of course there is a catch as there is in every political struggle considering the town.

The price here is that he gets to keep a fluffy white hat which is apparently worn by the elite in the town and taste fine cheeses at the Lords table. Thereby, he is buying a level of aristocracy for the price of being the towns lead mercenary against the scourge that he has announced plans to kill them off. He is  not the only with a skewed perspective on life  as deep within the Boxtrolls' cavern lair, there is a human boy (the one who was stolen) and his name is Eggs. He thinks that is he is a Boxtroll and one of his tribe when the humans think that they are a group of bloodthirsty savages.

Of course, we soon find out that the Boxtrolls are non violent inventors and tinkers that have an attachment to abandoned cardboard boxes which they wear over their bodies. As the anti Boxtroll campaign which is spear-headed by Snatcher starts to claim some of his friends, Eggs starts to realize that he is similar to humans and can pass as one of them. It is at this time that he is sent to the upper world to spy on them.
