12in Retina MacBook Air Release Date Rumours: Speculations About the Latest Addition to Apple's Macbook Air
Apple fans will have to wait for some time before the Cupertino based giant release the latest Macbook with Retina display. Reports say that it could be this Fall or sometime in mid- 2015. There have been a lot of speculations about the latest addition to Apple's Macbook Air. Not only the 12in Retina MacBook Air Release Date Rumours has been on the news, but also how well the newest Mackbook Air was redesigned.
People have been waiting for the next Macbook that is rumored to be called as the 'thinnest notebook the world could ever see'. The Macbook with high resolution display will be an addition to Apple's Macbook Pro Line models that include a 13-inch with 560 x 1,600-pixel display and a 15-inch with 2,880 x 1,800-pixel screen.
Earlier, Digitimes released reports saying that a 12-inch Macbook Air will begin its production on the last quarter of 2014 as Apple's partner in Taiwan, Quanta Computer set a delay on the production of the Intel Broadwell chips required for the 12-inch model. The Broadwell chip is 14 nanometer and capable of providing a quiet fanless design.
Certainly Apple is the first one to enjoy the next generation processor. With the processor, the new Macbook Pro Air will be lighter and thinner giving it a more revolutionary look. There is also information leaked that Apple has incorporated a redesigned trackpad that makes typing soundless.
Jack March, a self-confessed Apple product leaker also provided more information regarding the laptop. March claimed that the 12-inch Macbook will be available in colors just like the iPhone 6: Space Grey, Silver and Gold. There will be a new USB Type C port which is capable of faster transfer rates and power. The USB Type C is designed to give users a sturdy universal connector from tablets, mobile and PC's.
Other eye-catching details leaked about the next-generation laptop include thinner bezels, a visible speaker placed on top of the keyboard, display screen with 2K resolution, a 128GB or 256GB SSD, a 4GB RAM, and a 720p FaceTime camera. It is said to weigh only 1.35kg.
It is reported that Apple's Taiwan-based supply manufacturer confirmed that small volume production of the Intel Broadwell chips has begun. This means that Apple 12-inch Macbook Air could possibly be in your hand by the end of 2014 or 2015. This also confirms that the 12in Retina MacBook Air Release Date Rumours could finally come to an end.
