Hilary Duff Latest News and Update: Hilary Duff Releases New Album After Five-Year Hiatus
After five long years, Hilary Duff is finally releasing a new album. The singer/actress took a break from singing and doing any projects, to make time, for her child and her married life. Her son's name is Luca. She and her then-husband, Mike Comrie decided to separate amicably.
In an interview, Duff said that the album is definitely going to be pop. She added, "I would want someone to think 'Oh, that's Hilary. It has a little bit of folk threaded through it which is cool for me because I'm a Texas girl."
Her last album was released in 2007 titled "Dignity." According to Duff, her new album is going to be "upbeat and happy." She said, "A lot of it is a little more serious kind of just touching on some of the things that have happened in my life the past few years that I have taken a break. I hope people enjoy it and I hope to make my fans really proud."
Lizzie McGuire
Hilary Duff is also known for her role as "Lizzie McGuire." When asked, what she thinks, about a "reunion" project for all the cast members of the series, Duff said that she is very open to doing it. She told Huffington Post, "I love it! I would be totally open to it," she smiled to the interviewer from Huffington Post. "My schedule is a little busy right now. But um... why not?" Fans are excited to see Duff reinventing herself and accepting projects.
The still untitled album is going to be release on October 14. The first single in the album, "All About You," premiered this month. Despite all the delays, it seems that the release of Hilary Duff's new album is going to happen before the year comes to an end.
