Amazon Releases New Fire HD Tablets and E-Readers: 2-years 'no questions-asked' warranty
New additions to the Amazon tablet just arrived. Amazon has launched a brand new Kindle Fire HDX tablet along with a display size of 8.9-inch. According to the reports, the Fire HDX tab will be 20% lighter than the Apple's iPad Air and with a much better picture resolution pixel and frame rate. It will have 12 hours of battery backup. The processor it would have is a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805, having clock speed of 2.5GHz. It will have a 1920x1080 pixels HD and a pixel density of 339 ppi. It will also have the world's thinnest Bluetooth system keyboard. The price for this tab is set at $379.
Triple low range tab has also been introduced starting from just $99. Amazon has released a 6-inch Fire HD tablet costing only $99, which is really an eye popping price. Moreover, at $79, voracious readers can snap up a new Amazon e-reader named Kindle Voyage. The Kindle Voyage has ultra-thin shape and also offers sharp display with a better resolution. The auto adjustment front light sensor has an excellent balance between brightness and contrast according to the room's condition of light. It also has 3G data service so downloading books without Wi-Fi is possible.
There are also tablets made for kids, which costs only $149 for the 6-inch version and $189 for the 7-inch version. Even though these tablets are made for kids, they would have the same hardware configuration as the other new releases. The Kids Edition comes with attractive subscription system to FreeTime Unlimited. This package allows kids to search a huge knowledge library content. Amazon has blocked the access to Amazon stores, so that kids can't accidentally purchase apps.
To make these new products more attractive, Amazon throws in 2 years of replacement guarantee. The 2 years replacement guarantee covers no-questioned-asked warranty. According to Amazon if any the tabs are broken they will replace them for sure without any questions.
To test the durability of Amazon's tablets, the company puts through a process where the tablets are passed through the ringer, keeping tabs inside a tumbler, blasting everything from salt water to sunscreen on them.
Buyers would sure get their money's worth on any of these new offerings by Amazon.
